I worked closely with members of the College of the Arts, to find a way to best represent each school, as well as the College of Arts as a whole. I utilized the brand colors throughout the illustration, as well as featured an important element of each program.
Stained glass has historically been used for significant buildings, and to honor the longstanding history of Lincoln Hall and the College of the Arts, I created a stained glass effect for the illustration.
Portland State Installation
The College of the Arts displays art in three faux windows on the Lincoln Hall building, inspired by each of the four schools of art: architecture, art and design, film, and music. The banners connect the city to the school, and give a sense of what magic happens within each building.
