After meeting the creators of Kickstand Comedy, we could see their passion for comedy, community, and… bikes! Our team chose the name HandleBar as a complement to the original.
The logo utilizes the letters from the name as well as the concept of a bike. Since this company has two parts to it, I created a logo that can stand alone, or be paired with both logos.
Our client chose this color and type direction, with simple lettering to match their humble feel, and a bright primary color scheme.

HandleBar is a sibling of the popular comedy club, Kickstand. When they decided to expand their brand into a comedy bar, our team created a set of assets and systems to help this young company show off their style. We were able to compliment their grungy but approachable and fun feel.

When meeting with our clients, we talked a lot abut how functional and costly all of the design elements would be for them. I created a menu that could be printed on one sheet of colored paper, so they can print right in their back office.

HandleBar is very community focused. To help in creating a welcoming and friendly environment, I designed a set of playing cards that could be utilized even while right there in the bar, playing cards and drinking beer with strangers.
